Before there was Michael Jordan there was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the 7'2", six-time MVP winner from New York City. It was Kareem's first shoe that started the signature shoe craze in the 1980s. The Adidas KAJ Mid is a re-release of the original basketball shoe made for Kareem in 1971. This pair of shoes features: Full-grain leather offers durable support. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar graphic on tongue and signature above the classic Adidas' 3-stripes. Padded collar and tongue for a snug and secure fit. Traditional lacing system provides a tighter fit for more centralized support. EVA midsole absorbs shock and cushions each step. Durable rubber outsole with herringbone tread delivers great traction.
