These are truly the best shoes I have ever owned. I am a dancer. I practice tango, lindy hop, blues, and fusion dance styles, as well as long distance track and field running, and these shoes have so far held up to all the beatings I have given them. The arch support is excellent and I have yet to have sore feet after running miles or dancing hours in these shoes. (And I dance a lot!)
So far I have owned them for about 1 year and they still are holding up extremely well, with just a slight tear in the fabric that happened a long time ago and the heal rubber beginning to wear a bit. The tread is still well seated onto the bottom of the shoe, (no floppy mouth shoe) happening yet.
I would recommend these shoes to anybody, they are not your average converse. They are actually a comfortable well made shoe that will last you a good long time.
(To make them a truly good pair of dance shoes, just glue a bit of swede leather, you can buy it cheap from any local sewing and fabric store, onto the bottom of your shoe. You'll be spinning and sliding comfortably on any dance floor!)

love these chucks... mainly because unlike most converse the stitching is not visible. I've had them for years and although I don't wear them everyday, they have lasted some heavy abuse. The heels wore down quickly, but I feel like thats a common occurrence with chucks that are worn frequently. great buy!
